Wow this is the second visitor: a possum. It's eating from the same food that the raccoon knocked over. Chewing very loudly (the video is noisy so barely noticeable). The bangs near the end is when my cat hops on the chair, which is wobbly.

If they wanted serifs in honesty, they could choose from the various options made with screens in mind. (one of the C fonts has serif)

Calibri and the rest of the "C fonts" from Microsoft have 'hinting' which is a tech to make them more legible on screens. Hi res ones might not need it, but those with regular resolutions (i.e. bigger pixels) benefit from that. TNR afaik never got those improvements.
