The official policy of the government of the United States of America is that they will murder anyone they want, that they will tell any lie necessary to justify that murder, and that no one who resists them has any rights they are bound to respect.

In the video from the person in the pink coat that @alexip718.com obtained, it appears to me that a registered nurse who worked with veterans was executed by ICE simply because he helped another protestor they physically assaulted.

We have been told for nearly 30 years that America needed to tolerate mass shootings because the broad availability of guns would help us defend ourselves from an overreaching federal government. That day has come. The people who said this are supporting the federal agents. Many have joined them.

It's interesting to hear a director talk about this stuff instead of doing the crowd-pleasing "we did it all with practical effects!" stuff which turns out not to be true when you actually see the movie.
Generally mixed on Gore Verbinski movies which are usually stronger visually than story-wise. But I do feel the CGI in his films are considerably better than average. So when he's saying he notices how the quality of CGI has gone down considerably, people should listen.
Gore Verbinski Discusses 'Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die' and Why CGI No Longer Looks Good
Gore Verbinski returns with Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die, we talked with him about the film's overt stance against AI, and his return.

NVidia chief creep says resistance and scorn for AI have done a lot of harm. Good. Nice confirmation it's working. Keep it up. Although the main thing is this stuff is harmful crap so the mind and body tend to revolt against it automatically.

Fascinating. Also....what if the tiny people are real and all around us and the mushrooms just let us see them.
With most psychedelic drugs, you never know what you're going to get. But this mysterious mushroom from China - without fail - causes users to hallucinate tiny people: crawling up walls, popping out from under furniture and marching under doors. www.bbc.com/future/artic...
'They saw them on their dishes when eating': The mushroom making people hallucinate dozens of tiny humans
Only recently described by science, the mysterious mushrooms are found in different parts of the world, but they give people the same exact visions.

not saying anything new here but burnham shouldnt run because it is a virtual certainty that the party machine is ungovernable. IMO needs dismantled v deliberately with a full acknowledgement of the extent of starmer's failure

Even the best case scenario here - Burnham wins easily and is smoothly installed as leader, and switches to something more humane and less repellent - is going to be immediately hit with suicide attacks from within his own party, followed by a long wrecking campaign to ensure a Tory/Reform victory.

im at the cinema for the NT hamlet broadcast. it is terrific imo - the ophelia/polonius/laertes dynamic is sold so well - and that's often a production's least interesting aspect. You really believe the three of them love each other, and it kind of situates the tragedy of the play there
