So, Facebook often sends me random updates from friends, usually focused (with no pattern I can discern) on a specific person for some period of months. For a while it was guessing pretty well about who I'd be interested in hearing from (though also shooting itself in the foot with broken links)...

It is finally weekend, and @frameofmind.bsky.social has the flu. 😩 We're pretty sure we brought it back from Japan (Japan had an influenza surge just as we were leaving that was big enough to make the news), and I suspect I already had a mild case earlier this week. But I guess I'll find out! 😬

Sometimes for work I have to schedule meetings with outside people without first knowing where they're from/based, so I try to tone down the !!!-usage so as not to terrify them (since most turn out to be European).
