Ugh job hunting is such a soul-gutting slog. It's so bad that the rare instances I get a "your application has been received" message are considered highlights. After 120+ *well qualified* applications over 6 months, I've had 3 interviews. Three! All of which then ghosted me w/o any feedback.

Another snowblower day (yesterday) meant another occasion to don the polar bear Wildcoat! This is the single warmest coat I've ever worn by far. If you want to sweat profusely in the middle of a blizzard, this is the coat for you!

I don't know how I'd been completely oblivious to Dungeon Crawler Carl until maybe 2 weeks ago? I'm 2/3 through book 1 and it's been one of the most entertaining and amusing reads I've experienced in a long, long time. The absurd premise, the humor, the whimsically colorful descriptions of gore!

Ending 2025 in a bit of a funk. There's tons to be grateful for this year, and I truly love all the good that came my way! There's also lots of crap pushing me into a more negative headspace. Really trying to press onward/upward and get out of this rut. Hoping 2026 has good developments ahead!

Celebrating this 21/21 milestone with a 21 year old beer. Perhaps surprisingly, it's still quite good!
Berkshire Brewing Company's Holidale barleywine from 2004. Snagged a six-year vertical (03-08) from a raffle a year or two ago; this is bottle 2.
