Besides capitalism, the biggest issue I see is that freedoms of expression/religion have gone too far.
Start treating cries of "groomer" the same way we treat cries of "bomb" in an airport.
Start treating Christian extremists the same as any other extremist.
Make it social suicide to be a bigot.

Back when I was in college (in the early aughts) the joke was that Linux would never be widely adopted because no one could agree on one of the many versions floating around the net.
Now would be a really good time for people to decide on a non-Windows/Apple OS.
