My mechsona would fit great in this ecosystem! It's one of those butterflies with eyespot patterns and it would be ideal for surveillance but also be vulnerable to those bird mechs 😵‍💫

This is still standard practice with animatronics as I recall. It's the same principle in reverse that makes you think traffic lights are smaller than they actually are until you see one up close and think "what the hell that thing's massive"
