Imagine if state government worked like city government. You'd elect your state rep to represent you in Springfield, but they also get final say on your license renewal or repaving projects on IDOT roads in their district. Ridiculous

I tried to route through the off-street paths in the parks, and couldn't make it work in Humboldt. Too many paths laid before the age of automobiles are designed to cross roads mid-block, and there's been little effort to reconnect them.
