AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

I'm fine with Wagga Wagga or Newcastle or wherever hosting NRLW Magic Round, but can they just leave it in the same place for several years to develop it as an event and not move it every single year?

If I were the business owner my response would be along the lines of "you pay me and I will refund you x% of the total cost per $x of new business I get that can be proven to be a direct result of the exposure you provide" See how much they back their influence then

At this point I'm frankly far more concerned with how we fill a Payne Haas size hole in our forward pack

Has the entire rugby league world forgotten Coby Black is only 19 years old?! As a Broncos fan of course I would have preferred him to stay, but also debuting him before he's ready could just as easily kill off his career before it starts. Nathan Cleary is a rare breed to debut so young and succeed

Why can't the Aust Gov just email me my tax invoice like a normal organisation? No have navigate through logging in to My Gov which almost never works first time. Do they want my money or not #HavingABadDay #Frustration

Once again, not their prerogative; the White House doesn't own or manage the stadium

The American establishment - be they liberals or otherwise - trying to deal with even the faintest hint of leftism in their 21st century politics is pretty funny. You could all just try being normal for a change as an alternative you know. Though, you won't get paid to say or write words for that eh

The duopoly just joined forces in the Senate to vote down an #AUKUS inquiry. Never mind the political, technical & management risks associated with the program, or the $365B price tag - the two major parties are happy sleepwalking with your national security and money. #auspol

Have thoroughly enjoyed educating so many NSW supporters over the last few days about the fact that Nick Politis is a Queenslander. That's right, the owner of one their foundation and most successful rugby league clubs is a Queenslander #NRL #CaxtonHotel

A Bos. Globe investigation found Trump’s DEA falsely claimed “200 high-level Sinaloa cartel arrests” in August, used to justify his escalating war in Latin America. In reality, agents arrested addicts, shoplifters, and unhoused people who didn’t even know their names were used.

Finally giving up on food delivery services. Delivery times getting longer (often more than twice as long as the app says it will be on ordering) and food arrives cold to the point of inedible more often than not
