I do want to shop on the high street but when 2x 2B pencils cost over £2 each at Smiths/TG Jones, when I can buy them cheaper on eBay makes it frustrating, especially when making up art packs for a local charity Christmas present appeal. And price label was at ground level but I could see was £2+

the old @metoffice.gov.uk website and the new. The old gave me more information at a glance and the new one doesn't ever give accurate UV forecast. Who else does a proper UV forecast for UK?

Datura stramonium ~ thorn apple taking up a lot of space in the gourd patch. Last year v few. We think they came in with a plant from North Downs area, in Surrey, via my aunt a v long time ago, always some in grandparent's garden.
