It's weirdly difficult to remember that Trump's popular vote margin was /less/ than Hillary's in 2016. Biden got more votes in 2020 than Trump got in 2024 and Trump surrogates all under-performed in congressional races.
This is not a mandate, I don't get why it is being portrayed that way.

Was able to spend time watching a few of these in my back yard 2 summers ago. Actually thought they were small humming birds at first glace. Was a bit awe-struck.
This is the closest we get to humming birds, a Humming bird Hawk Moth. Not the easiest thing to try and capture at 800mm from about 3 meters away!
