The concept of "Trying to trick people into giving specific answers in what amounts to a customer survey" is wrong at so many levels.
Like, you're supposed to WANT to get accurate answers in those.

Watch out for the ONE question where they try to trick you by putting "I want AI" as the bottom option where EVERY other question has "I don't want AI" at the bottom!

I will never understand why they replaced community submitted subtitles for this nonsense
Real human people were happy and willing to make subtitles in a variety of languages for free, and the creator had full control of what submissions were used

It finally happened. I finally ran into a Youtube video with that awful auto-dubbing feature turned on.
The video is an interview and it's... not even watchable now. Like the auto-dubbing is just saying random nonsensical words. 😭
Why did they ever think this was a good feature to implement?

i think the big hurdle for a lot of artists making the move from twt to here is perceiving less likes as less human engagement. but actually the opposite is true: you're more likely to get human reception here than on [the corpse of] twitter, because the high amount of bots = artificial likes

unfortunately the van situation has not progressed at all. if anything, it's gotten worse. and my savings are p much drained
my queue is sitting at 19 and the headshots are at 12. anybody jumping on these atp will obv not get them till next year but if you can swing it it would be a huge help.

I really hate to have to do this but i just had a deer jump in front of my work van (and everday car) on the highway and total the bumper/fender and I need to open some emergency commissions to help cover the cost of repair and help me stay afloat while it's in the shop.
