People have to post Bluesky screenshots on X and elsewhere because of content that is exclusive to here that matters. Certain viral posts and influential posters come to mind. Posting the exact same things on competing platforms defeats the purpose lol

[Scrolling through accounts because I don't like blocking blindly]: "oh, well, here they're misgendering someone because they think she's cringe. And, oh look, they're reposting things from 9months ago about NS not wanting to transition under Trump and that's crazy somehow. Aaaaaaand...blocked."

I have a simple rule. Identity is complex and fraught and it's not inherently a bad thing to have Strong Opinions one way or another. It's just human nature to argue over labels.

*But*, the second you start misgendering or deadnaming someone to show your lack of respect you're a bad person.

Schumer like Dems in charge is not a sustainable dynamic for American democracy. The entire Senate Democratic leadership needs a change.
Chuck Schumer has internalized the idea that Trump represents real America and he doesn't, so he feels the only way he can also get real America to support him is if he shepherds Trump through his own madness.

That is an appalling state of affairs for an opposition party.

Can the Senate Dems sound any more limp, facile and impotent to Europeans across the Atlantic?

Beyond embarrassing.
I would be hard-pressed to name a more feckless, embarrassing political body in history than the Senate Democratic caucus. Just utterly useless in this moment.
