The crown of Empress Eugénie was one of nine invaluable royal ornaments snatched by burglars during the Louvre heist in October, but the thieves dropped it on the sidewalk before making their escape. The Louvre announced it will soon invite restorers to submit proposals for the crown’s repair.
The Louvre Thieves Dropped This Priceless Crown. Now It Looks Like This.

istg the most boring art always comes from people who wanted to Make Art all their life. my biggest pet peeve is interacting with something that was made because the author wanted to Create but struggled to decide what because they had nothing to say. i promise life goes on if you're not an artist

stop using AI to do your research. it hallucinates too often. if you want an answer to something, post something arrogant on the appropriate subreddit. something like: "this item performs 10% better than everything else. only idiots deny this." this will bait nerds into doing your research for you.

question for folks who are less mobile-illiterate than me: i have a third party keyboard installed on android 13, whenever i restart my phone it's disabled and i have to enable it from settings. gboard is the only one that stays on after restart but i want a different one, is there a way avoid this?

"AI chatbots elude even their creators’ full control and understanding."

No they don't! Fuck this bit absolving tech companies from responsibility. Even if it were true, no other industry is held to such a lax standard of "it's fine if you don't know how your product works and can't control it."

life hack! if you buy tools to dispose of a body every, let's say, couple of years, it's gonna be sooo much more difficult to trace it back to you when you murder someone ten years from now. be kind to your future self

Regarding the new handheld that lets you play Gameboy games and takes AA batteries and is super retro and cool but also made out of the same materials as the CEO’s other company uses to make drones and that’s a SELLING POINT…
