That awful questionnaire (CBC) has paired responses for parent & child. Where the parental questions are particular inappropriate for asking a child they switch the child option for a random positive question, the results of which are immediately discarded (they do not inform analysis).

This is in addition to some awful physical tests, an abusive assessment and approval process, awful coercion, terrible and abusive power dynamics, it is just so bad.

How is this acceptable? It is excessive. It is abusive. It is not trauma informed. It doesn't even make sense. This is just ONE of the many many many tools and assessments trans kids will be put through.

The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

The whole trial is designed to be coercive cos they could not even consider designing the type of trial trans adolescents would willingly participate in. They need to do everything through the threat of violence [removal of necessary healthcare is violence]

This incredibly precarious situation will leave trans adolescents incredibly stressed. It creates and maintains an incredible power force over them, where any protest, opinion or refusal to comply through or even at the end of trial can lead to healthcare withdrawal.
