The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times reported that the National Security Agency intercepted a conversation last year between two foreign nationals who mentioned Kushner while discussing Iran policy. The whistleblower alleges Gabbard restricted distribution of the intelligence and delayed broader dissemination to Congress for political reasons after meeting with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. The complaint, reportedly submitted in May 2025, claims the intelligence was withheld for approximately eight months before lawmakers were allowed to review a heavily redacted version on a secure, read-and-return basis.
