When I was in Catholic School, I was told to love thy neighbor. I was told to be like Jesus. Also to be like Anne Frank. I was taught that Fascism and Nazis were bad.
Now I'm an atheist, but I am more Christian than my family, whom I do not have contact with anymore, because I have standards.

I stopped using sticker mule absolute ages ago because of the owner’s bullshit. The owner is still on his bullshit, so if you use sticker mule, maybe don’t. StickerAPP is a good alternative, and also there’s most likely a local sticker printer near you (Sticker Ninja in Portland, for example).

ICE is apparently starting to follow school buses. We had an all hands meeting to discuss the procedure if approached. I going to have to tell my bus kids to watch if they or the bus appears to be followed ...

Every new year, I have to deal with my Enbrel medication. A med I need to prevent me from literally debilitation. Without insurance, it's $20,000 for 1 month of doses. WITH insurance, it is $4,800. Granted, I hit my deductible, but that is a HUGE chunk of change to drop at once.

I emailed my parents that I should not have to hold my parents to a lower standard than I would anyone else. Until they stop supporting people that would see me and my friends suffer, let alone all of the other terrible human rights issues (which shouldn't be political at all).
Invariably, studies have found that breaking with parents is a last resort for young people.
These articles endorse a parent's right to abuse their kid, or be a hateful person who is a misery to be around and have a forgive-and-forget, grin-and-bear-it relationship later.

16 years. It's been almost 16 years since the Affordable Care Act (i.e. "Obamacare") was passed.
16 years and the Republicans STILL have NO plan of their own for a "replacement". Not even "concepts of a plan".
They never had any intent to "replace" the ACA.

I ended up maybe making a FOMO over-purchase of 2 Lenovo M910q Thinkstations... I had plans for video editing, but now I think I was stupid. Went and bought a portable monitor for just one of them right now.

I do remember getting In Utero at Wal-Mart with the censored back cover with "Waif Me", but the music wasn't censored. But also a copy of Beck's Mellow Gold at Wal-Mart that was censored with the "bad words" reversed, but sounded intentional and perfect for Beck anyway.
