I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Wild that we had a Dem administration in between his two terms that couldn’t seem to do anything about any of this.
Good morning. The President of the United States was in the middle of the most serious child sex trafficking ring of the last quarter century.

He is referenced not a dozen times in the case files. Not 100 times. Not 1,000 times. He’s referenced 38,000 times.

I have yet to see any evidence that there is a market for AI-generated books outside of people being tricked into thinking they are not AI-generated books. AKA, it is a project of scamming and deceiving people, and really should be treated as fraud

(Thread)

COLUMBO: And these babies, you just… gave them away?

OBI-WAN: For their own safety. Their father had become a very great threat.

COLUMBO: So you leave the boy on his father’s planet, under his father’s name, where he buys his father’s droids—

OBI-WAN: We can’t all be princesses, Lieutenant.
COLUMBO: My wife, she loves your games. The sunken ghost ship level. It’s her favourite

MARIO: Thank-a you!

C: Just one more thing. Now you say your girlfriend, the Princess, was kidnapped by Bowser, your enemy. And yet you were go-karting with him this morning?

M: What’s-a your point, Detective?

Bisschen lustig, dass man bei der Einreise in die USA fünf Jahre Unbedenklichkeit auf Social-Media nachweisen soll, während der letzte Totalausfall des Präsidenten selten länger als 24 Stunden zurückliegt.

ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.

anyway the reason the adult has to be the one that draws the boundary is that the kid can’t do it if they don’t believe they’re still a kid. at 16 we are SO desperate to be treated like an adult and we want to believe that’s what we are. we will crash through any boundary that’s not steel-reinforced

I think it should probably be a bigger story that the president of the United States is a raving lunatic
Trump at the National Prayer Breakfast: "We hit 'em. And we want to hit 'em right, sir, and we want to hit them from the top! East, west, north, south. Sir, they won't know what the hell! And we'll knock them out. We did it politically correct. Five years."

Cops were frequently getting caught planting drugs in 2017 because body cameras were new and many of them didn't understand how the technology worked.

When cops hit "record" it saved the 30 seconds from *before* they hit the button. Eventually, they figured it out.
