A 4-panel comic. I'm tabling at the Montreal Comic Arts Festival. A young woman walks by my table and looks at my wares. She touches one of my books on a stand, then immediately recoils and shouts "Oh my god wait. These are books??" The last panel only reads "COMICS FESTIVALS" and there's my confused face in the middle, and I say "WTF"

Carousel of the Cosmos 🎠🌌

13"x18" on cold press, gouache, watercolour and ink.
A gouache and Acrylic panting of a black femme nonbinary person with long dreads partly tied back sitting on a horse in a carousel. They are wearing a white flowing gown with gold accents and have their hands cupped upwards as they look up with a sorrowful expression, there is tear below their eye. The carousel also seems partly infected by pulpy veins and fungus that covers the other horses and the ceiling of the carousel. In the back there are past versions of themself on the other horses and they are overgrown with the fungus and veins too. The Carousel itself is a dark teal and light mint coloured with ornate gold accents and at the bottom there is paneling on the base of the carousel that shows albino rabbits hopping through the grass. The sky behind them is black with minty coloured stars.

I know that the holiday season is getting pretty hard on folks, and years when my family couldn't afford much, we would usually do a big round of baked goods and food to reheat as gifts.
Food is comfort, and homemade food is such a wonderful thing to give others

i've been repostin' a lot of old stuff bc i am currently in the inking mines with Lunar Blight and don't have much new things to share!
That said, I think it's a great ideao to repost old stuff, I often miss out on seeing my followers works and love the reminders!
