🚨 Shocking Stats on Speeding Near Edinburgh Schools! 🚨

I’ve been exploring this fascinating tool: speeding.hasp.ac.uk

It uses GPS data to show how often goods vehicles are speeding in Edinburgh (and beyond). The results? Honestly worrying.

Reform told you reducing council tax was easy. They just had to slash Woke policies, and a billion or two would be saved. They wouldn't even need to close care services.

They promise you that.

And then every single Reform-led council cut care services and increased council tax.

Reform UK won’t say ‘private’ when talking about healthcare. Richard Tice uses ‘independent’:

"Instead of giving £26bn to the already bloated wasteful NHS, we proposed easing pressure on the health service by incentivising those who can afford to pay more to go independent with a tax break."

Hmm... If instead the main road was set back (chicane) then that would achieve the same benefits AND reduce speed on the main road at the intersection. I realise the cost of doing this would be higher, but I don't agree it is always the cyclists that have to zig zag around to make it easy for cars.
Some misinterpret this design as prioritizing cars while inconveniencing the bike. Incorrect.

The setback allows one car to advance, waiting to enter the street, while keeping the bike path clear. A second car can wait behind the bike path, advancing only after the first car exits the waiting area.

Check out 15mincity.ai.

Colinton scores 70% (weaker on public transport and cultural recreation) while a click on Leith Walk gives you 90% (weaker on green spaces but much better otherwise). I'm sure it's not perfect, but still very instructive.
