50 years later this is still a fantastic album. Emmylou Harris' part has always been my favourite on this cut.

At fifty years old, it remains one of his signature records, a behemoth of storytelling and epics opening either side of the record.

RIP Mick Abrahams. Beginning with Jethro Tull he had formed his own band, the mighty Blodwyn Pig.
I had the pleasure of working with him a few times and he was a lovely guy as well as a brilliant guitarist.

Just read that Mick Abrahams has passed away at the age of 82. I especially loved Blodwyn Pig's first album Ahead Rings Out, his autobiography What Is A Wommett?, his quirky website, and his instructional guitar videos.
