Doing my best to walk the line between rational thought and understanding the insanity that has taken over half my country.
Even if this bullshit were true, it only reinforces the fact that you didn't follow protocol. A reporter scheming their way onto a classified conversation is only slightly better than them being accidentally invited to it.
Wow — Mike Waltz on Fox News suggests Jeffrey Goldberg somehow schemed his way into the Signal group instead of just being invited by accident

Democrats need to trumpet this. No better example of Republicans' blatant abdication of Congressional power.
The House just voted that “each day for the remainder of the 119th Congress shall not constitute a calendar day for purposes of section 202 of the National Emergencies Act.” A day is not a day. Lewis Carroll, George Orwell, and Franz Kafka must all be chuckling — or weeping.

When you’re in a relationship with a malignant narcissist—as we all are now with Trump—it’s important to stay out of emotionally reactive mode and instead to observe and act with detachment.

Emotional reactivity draws you into their defensive structure, and you can take in their toxic projections.

The cult will never admit their errors or his. But it was the right leaning people in the middle who got him elected. And it's those same people who can start to turn national opinion against him. It's critical to not alienate them.
I think it already is.

But seriously. Don’t call them names. We want the door open for them when they realize the mistake they made.

We are for a better America. Not a vindictive America

It's not relevant whether Elon actually did a Nazi salute, nor whether he meant to do a Nazi salute. What matters is that no one was surprised that he did it.

Trump posted his lie about “turning on the water” at 11:12 PM last night and CA responded with the facts less than two hours later.

Can most other Democrats PLEASE learn from this? At SOME POINT?

It isn’t 1996. Calling a press conference days later is USELESS. Rapid react!

CNN is losing viewers because they're straying further and further from reality. Fox News is gaining viewers for the same reason.

If it wasn't already abundantly clear, if you still believe anything this moron says, you're a bigger fucking idiot than he is.
Dear God. I almost feel sorry for anyone who allows themself to be fooled by this guy.

Trump stupidity on full display in California today. I will never fathom how anyone can watch idiocy like this and be proud that they voted for him. Not only dumb as a rock but proud of it!

I couldn't agree with this more. Get outside your bubble and talk to people, even if you find their opinions abhorent. Ranting might feel good, but it won't change minds.
No. The only chance to correct anyone and present facts is right in front of them. Having a discussion with them. Listen to the show I did with them.
It seems like your conclusion is that we live a post-truth world and facts don’t matter. Now what? Do we just have to accept such shittiness? And if so, how can we possibly do good in the world?

This is the opposite what a newspaper should be providing.
The Washington Post began trying out a new mission statement this week: “Riveting Storytelling for All of America.” It comes amid turmoil in the newsroom.

I've grown beyond anger and now just marvel at the mind-numbing stupidity. They do know that the President doesn't pick the site of the Olympics, right? They are just doing this performance for the cult members, right? Just when I think I've witnessed the peak of stupidity, they get even stupider.
FINNERTY: I'm wondering if you think the Trump administration should seriously look at moving the Los Angeles Olympics to a red city where things are gonna be run properly, like a city in Florida, maybe Miami, or maybe Dallas in Texas

This dumbass doesn't realize that we're all mocking him. He's a complete laughing stock outside of his cult. People like Seth and Jimmy just give us a chance to laugh together for a bit. But remove them, and we'd still be laughing at the buffoon.

Is it worth 20 MINS a day to proactively recruit and bring your friends, neighbors, relatives, businesses, anyone who is or could be a user, to @bsky.app?
