A hard drive towards “efficiency” without lots of feedback and input from the “people on the ground” will give a high risk of impacting something critical. Which we have seen already, when they suddenly recall people they have fired. But those are just the things that are visible short term.
Companies don’t like slacks because it cuts at the bottom line. It’s fine for companies to fail - there is a functioning state to back it up. A failed state however…

I feel like a lot of the resentment stems from not seeing bikes as a _proper_ mode of transport.
Here in Berlin ~18% of all trips are done by bike, but only ~4.8% of trafic space is for bikes.
In contrast to cars which have ~26%trips/~56%space.
