On a whim, I used my Mum's old recipe to make a butterscotch scone roll this afternoon. First time in God knows how many years.

My daughter gave me this shirt for Christmas a couple of years ago. It amuses me how many comments I get on it from strangers, mostly about my age. I had two strangers comment on it today, while were waiting in a line :)

Ah, well, they've come a long way since then. Here's a shot from one I had printed by DTRPG last October. This is their "standard colour" option too. They have a higher quality premium colour, but I've never tried those (they're more expensive).

I'm loving the current eruption Kilauea's Halema`uma`u crater. The lava comes boiling up the lava tube to the vent in the crater, spills over the top for a little while, then subsides, and drains back down the tube out of sight again. Ten minutes later, the cycle repeats. It's fascinating to watch.
