A note on the hire — his French club, ESBVA-LM, says he is leaving the club on Dec. 31 and that Meziane will still coach their upcoming games this month
The Connecticut Sun have hired Belgium WBB coach Rachid Meziane as their next head coach.
Since 2019, he's also been the head coach of the French club Villeneuve d’Ascq, which were EuroLeague runner-ups in 2023-24.

Been saying… the G League is FUN. Play hoop at a convention center in a small city you would otherwise never experience then hit Applebee’s with the fellas for some post-game half priced apps. Can’t beat it.
NEW: I spent the weekend watching Baylor Scheierman thrive on the Maine Celtics, where he's averaging 23 points per game and hitting 46.5% of his threes.
Above all, he's having a blast.

One of my men’s league teammates is a 6’8 21 or 22 yr old who never played on an organized 🏀 team growing up. He started hooping to lose weight. He’s honestly VERY good now. Another one of my teammates is a D2 college coach and is now helping him get onto a juco roster in Connecticut. I love this.
