THE GASP I GUSPED.
I am a Christian, living in one of the most churched cities in the country, and I still have struggled to find a community that reflects the values of the Kingdom of Heaven (care for the poor, marginalized, weak) since leaving my old church.

There is NO AMOUNT OF PERFECT, VIRTUOUS, OR NEEDY THAT YOU CAN BE IN ORDER TO GET PAST THE SUSPICION OF MOST CHURCH ORGS AND THEIR DESIRE TO NOT BE "RIPPED OFF".
And this is a FUNDAMENTAL problem with the American Church.
It shows the rot at the core.

My body/brain shuts down after 6pm, and now I get off work at 530pm, AND it's dark at 430pm.
How does one be a Person under these circumstances?
