Trump's Gulag-Industrial Complex Spoiler Alert: You’re Next
Let’s be clear about what Trump is saying: he wants to send American citizens to a gulag in El Salvador, a prison from which there is no escape, no hope of release, and no due process.

The “tariffs charged to the USA” column is obviously absolute nonsense — there is no world in which the EU charges a 39% tariff on US goods (though I know Trump doesn’t understand value added tax or get that it also applies to EU goods, it’s literally just a sales tax)

He has no more right to defy a district court than the Supreme Court.
Essentially saying all lower court rulings are optional for Trump is legally incorrect and irresponsible.

"Many things are bad now" is not equivalent to "things can't get much much worse." This is a fallacy many people fall into by mistake or because it's convenient. But it can really lead you astray. Things can pretty much always get worse.
If you think that the world is going to have less atrocity when US hegemony is over and not more, you’re in for a very rude awakening given how the current global alternatives are actively engaged in atrocity on a scale that should be incredibly upsetting to everyone.
