Years ago i applied for a load of jobs in France and you had to have a photo on your cv then in France I dunno if it’s still a thing and I’m pretty sure none of them would hire me because of my big Irish head…

I think it’s because they mostly think anyone poor is poor through their own stupidity or inherent badness and thus they deserve to starve. They don’t understand that a lot of life is luck or arbitrary chance and think they’re rich because of their own inherent superiority.

Yes I’m also surprised every time I try it that it’s still open! Shoes and hats and scarves and suchlike currently I think. And sometimes sales racks.
