Hoping this place might even partially live up to the hype of being like Irish Twitter c.2010 cos I loved that place.
Dublin, politics, history, random interesting stuff, football, the world.
I suppose I should say Labour Party member, for transparency.
Here’s one I* made earlier… as they say on de cookery programmes… 😜

Our keynote speaker today at @labourpartyireland.bsky.social Labour Women conference is the CEO of Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Rachel Morrogh. It’s honestly sickening to hear about how much their services are needed and how they fear the situation is getting worse.

Great to be here at Labour Women Ireland conference today hearing from party leader @ivanabacik.bsky.social about last year’s election successes and plans for the year ahead.

Went to the National Athletics Championships in Santry this afternoon. It was fun. Would recommend. Only cost me 15 yoyos. You can still get tickets for tomorrow if you’ve nothing better to be doing. Saw a whole bunch of Olympians up close! And a field event I’d never even heard of!

Did you mean to imply South Korea was part of China that wasn’t in the southern mainland? The northern mainland? An eastern island? It reads bizarrely. It’s like saying there are floods in Portugal as rain hits southern Italy. It’s a complete non sequitur.

Saw @karenhao.bsky.social talking at the Dalkey Book Festival earlier today and she was the first person I’ve heard talking sense about AI. Look forward to buying and reading the book. (Had to run* to another talk after otherwise would have got a signed copy.)

Going on every feedback box I can find on microsoft dot com to complain about the fact that when I click in an email to read it I can’t even see the first line of the email because of all the shite they’ve filled the page up with. Ux my ass.

It was still deadly to pet it though! This is not me petting it but the people I was with.

Had a really lovely time yesterday painting fences in the sunshine with some colleagues but today I can only move my left arm everything else is banjaxed. On the plus side I’ve done all my squats and lunges and forward folds for the week…

You can tell what some people would have done in 1930s Germany/Maoist China/pick your own totalitarian regime… by what they’re doing today.
