Appealing to authority as a replacement for critical judgment, epistemological caution, and moral humility is by far the norm in a vast amount of social justice discourse and this shows in how rigid and rote most of that discourse is

People want identity shortcuts for "who is worth listening to" and "which ideas are correct" and I implore you all to abandon that impulse, because that's not the world we live in.

Listen to the marginalized because our voices are erased, but also... think. Judge by word and deed.

Literally every single phenomenon we can observe or measure has a finite duration, and every living thing we've ever observed dies, and yet some people are really out here like "that's an engineering problem" because they're cowards about the obvious conclusion.
