Sunday night cooking Bluesky seems to be leaning hard into tomato sauce tonight: our features roasted cherry tomatoes I grew and canned this summer and has sliced spicy italian sausage and will be served with bucatini.

This weekend I've done a ton of seams and a ton of end weaving. And realizing that the 2D to 3D translation was in fact flawed but...perhaps I need only make an addition two granny squares for the body panels under the sleeves for when it all comes together?

Oh yay, a coffee. Also my Christmas present is now hung outside (I oddly enough did not want to put it out in yesterday's 60mph gusts).

Alright y'all...it's time for roast chicken leftovers to become the first crepes I've made since high school French class (and a slightly scary electric crepe pan) in the form of a chicken with caramelized onion boursin creme sauce crepe with a chive garnish and the dessert is baklava cups.

The bread I baked today was essential to dinner: sandwiches using leftover lamb loin, arugula, roasted red pepper, red oniin, melted cheese and some toum. Also fries.

Whooo, last ten granny squares of my first attempt at making a the sweater pattern finished! There _may_ be another 6 in my future though if the 2D to 3D translation doesn't quite work 😬

Tonight's dinner: crispy shrimp tacos in homemade blue corn tortillas with a chipotle crema slaw, some pico with the end of the garden tomatoes and pickled Havasu peppers and radishes I pulled out of the frozen ground today!

When we got this house, we bought this climbing rose because it's supposed to be tough as nails. I regularly have to prune the heck out of it even now as it blooms in December and...the mockingbirds have claimed it as theirs more than once.

It was another pantry/freezer dinner for reasons (aka short patience and a desire to not be arrested) so...chipotle mojo grilled chicken thighs, black beans, and plantains were served for dinner.
