(I know this b/c I was in the middle of arranging this donation when James’s mother’s pancreatic cancer and death sent the whole family into a tailspin. I have sadly lost track of that contact. (I am a chowderhead, but it was a hell of a tailspin.))

This is so true.

But I do think scientists could a) start recognizing that there is a war on science, and b) START FIGHTING IN IT.

I also wish she were an expert POTS etc because she’s not and I can’t find one. But at least she’ll read an article that says “try beta blockers first.”

She (the doctor) went on to say she can’t be an expert in everything appreciates timely PubMed links and anyway “even if you can’t evaluate the quality of research, you are always the expert on you.”

I wish we could clone her.
