Over the last five days, I’ve watched seven horror movies spread across five decades. I did NOT expect my favorite (and the one that disturbed me the most) to be 1971’s Let’s Scare Jessica to Death. I am all amazement.

Mycena haematopus, commonly known as the bleeding fairy helmet is a widespread #mushroom On young specimens it bleeds purplish-red when broken. The bleeding occurs from the base of the stem when the tissue is cut or damaged. So unique and beautiful! ❤️
