He co-wrote two classic "Treehouse of Horror" segments with Greg Daniels -- "The Devil and Homer Simpson" and "Time and Punishment".
The latter may be my favorite ToH segment. Its first 40 seconds are absurd comedy gold.

It's the 39th anniversary of the release one of my favorite films -- "Aliens"
I watched it so many times as a child I wore out the VHS and see it almost every year in a theater (an advantage of living in LA)
Very excited to see it in 70mm again next week, thanks to the @amcinematheque.bsky.social.
