Judge my taste on Letterboxd: ericjrobbins
The Criterion release describes the film as "an episode of 'Scooby-Doo' as directed by Mario Bava," which is incredibly accurate.
It's a movie I enjoy and I found the art striking, so it's been my av for many years!

The latter may be my favorite ToH segment. Its first 40 seconds are absurd comedy gold.
Rest in peace, Dan, and thanks for the laughs.

I'm jealous of your copy of "The Making of Star Trek" -- it's in significantly better shape than mine! Though the previous owner kindly answered the teaser question.

It can't be easy living on a ship that draws the ire of god-like aliens, the Borg, or random anomalies that cause crew members to fatally phase through the floor.

I watched it so many times as a child I wore out the VHS and see it almost every year in a theater (an advantage of living in LA)
Very excited to see it in 70mm again next week, thanks to the @amcinematheque.bsky.social.
