How do people vote for any "Christian" in light of some of the historical atrocities they've committed in God's name. If you want to push collective guilt, dumbass, let's go all the way.

Someone once said to Maggie Thatcher that she couldn't say she supported family values and be a fiscal conservative. When families are drowning, they need help. When faced with the choice of helping regular people or giving tax cuts to people who don't need them, they always choose the latter.
Buried in the Big Beautiful Bill were changes to food assistance that demanded “any future change be cost-neutral. Translation: no more benefit increases, even if food prices skyrocket.”

The result was “institutionalized hunger.”

This is travesty #4,001 committed at the hands of the Trump Administration. Could anyone design a worse president and a more vacuous human?

The saddest thing is that this bullshit works. Low information voters hear a "magic word" like communism and that's the end of the argument.
Actually, the saddest thing is a guy who gets elected to the Senate whose name is Markwayne Mullin.
No, really, Markwayne.

The Pharisees criticized people gathering food on the Sabbath.
Jesus said to them "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."
Just as you said, you can put people's needs first or you can strangle them with legalisms.
Is it that hard to see what's right?
Ketangi Brown Jackson just showed us what is wrong with America! While it is fine to adhere to the rule of law, perhaps judges should consider the harm to people and the country when they make their rulings! Letting people eat is more important than a point of law!

That's great advice from the NYT. Ignore what the voters voted for and betray all your personal beliefs. I thought the media might wait until after the poor guy is sworn in before they started to eviscerate him.
I was wrong again.
Here, in sum, is the advice of the New York Times’s editorial board gave to the victorious Zohran Mamdani: Renounce everything you campaigned on and become Michael Bloomberg…

I'd pay to see it, whatever it costs.
Pay-Per-View with the proceeds going to SNAP beneficiaries?

Good for you! But you realize that now you've blown your chance to be named Secretary of Health and Human Services in a Trump Administration.
So I did a thiin this morning that I always wanted to do. A homeless man came up to me and asked if he could sit next to me. I said yes. I gave him a cup of coffee a pack of smokes and $100. AND WHY NOT. He is a Human and a nice man.

He's thinking about Happy Hour.
Cheers, Petey!

And the voters aren't paying attention.

I'm sorry, is that a sexual reference?
Props to Sean Dunn for becoming world-famous because of his foot long.

Marjorie Taylor Green's family needs to put out a BOLO on her. I don't where this sane person came from, and I admit she looks and sounds like Marge but it's easy to tell it's not Marge.
This new version doesn't have her head up her ass.

Why are paying Congress? The only time my union went on strike, I didn't see a nickel for four months.
It's a shame we have to beg these morons to do their jobs. But as Mark Twain once said, "Suppose you're a member of Congress. Now suppose you're an idiot.
But I repeat myself.

I love FDR and don't mean to be pedantic, but I think he did what he did mainly to save capitalism and get us out of the Depression. Conservatives have always been too stupid to see that. What I admire about him was his pragmatism. He was open minded enough to try anything that would help people.

I think he's hailing a cab to take him back to 1939.

I thought he liked furniture. He's only coming out the closet if he sees a cute couch.

He's dreaming about stealing more food from the poor and eating it himself.

Where the hell is Nittany? Is it near Narnia?
BTW, I don't care where he's from, that's a giant teddy bear. No self-respecting lion looks like that even in Nittany.
Pitt's new Institute for Bioethics debates morality of euthanizing Nittany Lion.

This is information that you won't get anywhere else and there's an obvious reason for that.

Love you guys!

He seems nice.
Thank God Nosferatu here has figured out the problem! I feel silly not realizing that women voting is what's wrong. This genius figures if he can keep all the women that Trump assaulted from voting, Republicans may have a shot.
What a putz!

Natasha, you and I already know what's wrong with them and we didn't have to waste all that money and time on an education.
But I'll give it a listen anyway.
Thanks for the recommendation.
You know what podcast I’d listen to? A really qualified psychotherapist (not a tv ‘psychologist’ - someone with quals out the wazoo) interviews far right grifters who are promoting interests and agendas which hurt ordinary people to find out what TF is wrong with them.

His cult following will see that picture and claim that he's parting the waters.

Somebody tell that to Mikey "the Magic Christian" Johnson. He needs to stop worrying about his son playing with himself and try to do his eff'in job.

Good luck to these morons. Sadly for them, their money can't keep Trump from self-destructing.
A 2019 summit of GOP billionaires—led by Peter Thiel & JD Vance—spawned the “Rockbridge Network,” a donor alliance built to turn MAGA into a lasting power structure beyond Trump, eyeing the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidency.
