A busy weekend with my son’s soccer activities. No time for fishing, but there are streams and ponds by the field, and I slipped on wet rocks, soaking my foot and arms 😭

There are a few creeks I visit to check whether trout are thriving. During my 45-minute visit, I had only one hit. A brown trout, about 10 inches, slipped off my fly just a foot from the net. Still, I accomplished my goal 😊
