The flies I tied for trout didn’t work on trout 🙃
But they worked on a variety of fish including, Fallfish, Rock Bass, Creek Chub, Sunfish, and Smallmouth🙄
So, I feel okay, even though they eat just about any fly 🤔

Yes, I do. In this case, it was a dead vine hanging from a tree. I had caught it a few times before, and my flies were still attached to it. Today, I finally managed to “land” the vine and recovered three flies from it 🤩

Went to the lab in the morning, detoured for some fly fishing, caught three trout for Tuesday’s dinner, took my son to a soccer tryout, did some grocery shopping, and had a dinner out. A very productive day 😊
