Electricity bill for November & December just landed and JAYSIS!
Irish consumers pay around 50% higher than the EU average for most/all goods & services. EUROSTAT puts us tied with Denmark as EUs most expensive.
How this isn't a huge issue for voters is beyond me...

When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Today the order banning #PalestineAction as "terrorists" came into effect. But they are not terrorists. They are protesters trying to stop a genocide. This is a "first they came for ..." situation. Unless we stand in solidarity against this assault on our freedom, they will pick us off one by one.
