I made a crawdaddy and shrimp gumbo yesterday. To make a gumbo from scratch is love. From stirring the roux without looking away, low and slow for as long as it takes, to peeling and deveining crawdad tails. Cooking is the way Southerners show love, and I love @emmaemurray.bsky.social very much. ♥️
