In seriousness, I'm the opposite. I hear my ideas in voices, or often I hum them out as I'm developing them in my head, then I have to adapt for instruments if that's what I'm writing for.

In my defense I just really love this movement and I want to savor every moment! Also, it really stands up to a very very slow tempo. It doesn't feel sluggish because the whole atmosphere it creates is just lighter than air...

I think the people tied to the tracks would still rather not be

a nice moment in this rehearsal was when the cellos and basses really nailed the recitative section and everyone clapped for them :)
