Day 190: Feel like shit? Make sun tea
A single-panel comic drawn with sable brush and india ink with inkwash and cross-hatch shading. It is completely unlawful for ICE to turn away members of Congress like this. The law could not be more clear; no member of Congress may be denied access to a facility where ICE is detaining someone, and they cannot be required to schedule in advance. Surprise inspections must be surprise.

If ICE were acting entirely within the law and maintaining good conditions in all its facilities, they would not be turning Congresspeople away.

But they clearly aren't.
