Iran is threatening to assassinate Trump, Putin is threatening to destroy the world, and all of our allies are getting ready to go to war with us. America couldn’t just vote for the woman ? 🙄

Remembering David Bowie, here's a song which sounds like a critique of America failing to fulfil it's promise/ideals of democracy, freedom and prosperity. (Prescient). In this clip, I marvel at the power of Bowie's voice and his forthright delivery. Beautiful. #Bowie

Chatted to my great uncle yesterday – a northern, working-class guy, not that political. I told him my job involved exposing Farage.

His first question was: “who funds him?”

Investigations into Farage’s donors can have a major impact on Reform’s support – as this research has already shown 👇

Unbelievable, and yet entirely predictable. It is an abject failure of the SNP that two vessels that were supposed to be delivered in 2018 have been so badly mishandled - and emblematic of their failure of islanders in general.

CalMac ferry Glen Rosa delayed again by up to six months
The delivery date for MV Glen Rosa is pushed back by up to another six months while there is a further short delay with the Turkish-built Isle of Islay.

Rejoining Erasmus is a real opportunity to start repairing the disastrous Conservative Brexit deal.

However it must be a first step on a clear roadmap to a closer relationship with Europe. Starting with negotiating a bespoke UK-EU customs union, and committing to a youth mobility scheme.

the price of populism
"By 2025, Brexit had reduced UK GDP by 6% to 8%, with the impact accumulating gradually over time. We estimate that investment was reduced by between 12% and 18%, employment by 3% to 4% and productivity by 3% to 4%"
