I’m listening to this mess of a hearing and finding it interesting how 1) it’s not clear exactly what “chronic diseases” are being referred to 2) modern medicine does a lot to keep people who do have “chronic disease” alive. pca.st/episode/62a8...

this is a big freakin deal in LA, the city where fireworks go on all night during 4th of July. People love their fireworks here, even if they are illegal.

People constantly complain about how expensive it is to live in California, and people do leave. But a whole lotta people sill live here. Like a lot a lot of people. Including a lot of people who can afford to own more than one house.
