Today we remember Alice Ball, an African American chemist who developed the 1st effective treatment for leprosy prior to antibiotics. After Ball died at 24, a male colleague stole her research. Ball was not recognized until a historian found her original thesis. Feb 28 is Alice Augusta Ball Day

I haven't been able to find my working earbuds in days, and I can't explain how this is a massive obstacle to leaving the cave.

Has anyone else wondered what it's like to feel safe *and* in love? It's literally hard for me to imagine.

I've lost just enough faith in humanity to not investigate if it's even worth it, actually.
There's just too much evidence that people suck.

But if you find that for yourself, Treasure It.

I deleted so many apps today. I saw that the most recent one I deleted was sending me 12 notifications a day.

I didn't know this until I caught it in the half second after I hit uninstall. It makes sense. I wish I had known to look for minimal notification settings.

One of the reasons I haven't produced/released music is that I know what is possible, but I can't choose a genre/instrument/focus. Learning production seems hard.

Yesterday it still seems inevitable to me that I will learn because I can't stop writing poems meant to be songs.

Today I open my DAW.
