Enormously catchy and colorful prog rock / metal. Sort of hard to describe, but they remind me of Toehider / Coheed and Cambria / System of a Down / Devin Townsend in varying degrees depending on the track, with an air of power metal-adjacent pomp prevalent throughout

Playing through it now with my wife. I had the lowest possible expectations, because SH2 is my favorite horror game, and I have big issues with most of Bloober Team's past work. I honestly think it's an incredible achievement.

Yes, 100%. I don't write most of the keyboard parts for my songs, so when my band rehearses and our keyboardist matches the guitars' chord progressions, I've found that it can create an entirely different emotional feel than I intended, depending on the tone

Their self-titled album from a couple years ago is slept on. My absolute favorite of their post-Black Waltz stuff

Absolutely essential listening for any fan of metal, or of music in general
