I prefer to think that a government is for everyone, not just the few white wealthy men. I will do what’s necessary to protect the poor, the tired, and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free
Beautiful doggy 💕💕
A quiet day at the shelter. No one has shown any interest in adopting MELIA. Its now 796 days. 😭 Please don't let it hit day 1000. The goal was to find her a peaceful adult only home by Thanksgiving. No dogs. Cats are ok. 🤞 Help this dog out! Repost / adopt 😩

I’m proud to be part of the radical left. I want equal rights for everyone, protection for the vulnerable, and a social safety net for those who need it.
If standing up for the victims of pedophilia and sex trafficking makes me “radical left,” then so be it. When every trail seems to lead back to the same group under this administration, and they’re still protecting a leading player? 👇🏾

The irony of the American economy being dictated by the whims of Donald Trump is that he'll have no one else to blame when it all crumbles.

This will be his undoing.

Trump's DOT has officially scrapped a Biden-era rule requiring airlines to pay passengers cash compensation when flight disruptions are caused by airlines.

Flying already sucks — and Trump wants to make it suck even more. https://youtu.be/eTzaMXXelew?si=OghvJOMzUq2ZeJrc

I stand with unionized Starbucks workers, who are on strike across the country right now for better wages and working conditions.

Until Starbucks strikes a fair bargain with its workers and ceases its union-busting behavior, I'll continue to boycott the company.

Remember: The concentration of wealth in the hands of a few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, regular people don't have a voice.

The result? The demagoguery and corruption we're seeing now.

One third of the country supported the January 6 2021 attempted take over the government & are the same ones who voted him back in. They are traitors in my book.

UPDATE: Since launching our own methane-tracking satellite earlier this year, California has helped close 10 large methane leaks in our state.

That pollution reduction is roughly the same as taking 18,000 gas-powered cars off the road for an entire year.
California is moving forward with a groundbreaking satellite project to track and reduce methane emissions.

With this innovative technology, we’ll be able to move faster to cut methane emissions — protecting Californians and tackling harmful pollution.

Amazon announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

NEW: California now has nearly 17,000 megawatts of battery storage – reaching one-third of the way to our 2045 goal.

We're deploying more battery storage than any state in America, building a stronger grid, cutting pollution, and securing a safer future for our nation.

I stand in solidarity with the Starbucks workers on strike.

When a corporation can pay $96 million to its CEO for just four months of work, it can afford to pay its workers a living wage and decent benefits.

I’ve long pushed for stronger ethics rules at the Fed.

The American people should be able to trust that the Fed's decisions are not driven by the personal interests of individual officials or the political interests of Donald Trump.
