I prefer to think that a government is for everyone, not just the few white wealthy men. I will do what’s necessary to protect the poor, the tired, and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free

In September, the administration gave Congress notice of the first strikes on boats in the Caribbean “consistent with the War Powers Resolution.”

Now, after 60 days, it says the Resolution does not apply, claiming that these strikes do not constitute hostilities.

Sorry to see racists in black face thinking they can mock with impunity again. This is never okay.
Who?! Shouldn’t the president know who he is pardoning?
Trump pardoned Binance cofounder Changpeng Zhao after Binance made a $2 billion investment in his family’s crypto venture.

Now Trump is claiming he has no idea who Zhao is.

Caption is German - “Art project on the US-Mexican border”

The image shows the "Teeter-Totter Wall," an art installation that took place at the U.S.-Mexico border in July 2019.

The "Teeter-Totter Wall" won the 2020 Beazley Design of the Year given by London's Design Museum.
It took a couple of judges to step in to feed people.

NEWS: Federal agents crashed with woman’s car, pointed guns at her, dragged her out by legs, tossed her in a minivan, held her and (eventually) let her go without charges. This as Chicagoans say the immigration blitz is out of control. (DHS blames her.)

Let’s be real — no one needs a trillion dollars. But every worker needs a union.

We refuse to live in a world where billionaires become trillionaires while working people struggle to pay rent.

Through Unions For All, we’re reclaiming our power and using it to uplift all working people.

- Increasing your healthcare costs
- Cutting SNAP
- Not paying workers

This is all thanks to the Republican shutdown.

Republicans are working for billionaires, not you.

Trump seems to be asking for even lower approval numbers.
He can’t remember who he pardoned;
He might send ground troops to Africa;
He doesn’t think ICE is doing enough despite their reign of terror!
He lies about prices
he says are going down. Bet he never went to a
Grocery store in his
life.

This shit is so crazy and so obviously our biggest problem underlying everything and anyone who says otherwise is either greedy or blind

We said what we said
The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

If ICE agents begins harassing voters on the way to vote on Tuesday, we need local prosecutors to charge the ICE officers with state law crimes. We need to send a message for 2026 that they will be swiftly arrested.
No. One. Should. Be. Treated. Like. This.
DHS says they “don’t arrest U.S. citizens for immigration enforcement.”

But at least 170 Americans they’ve detained know that’s not true.

Don’t ignore their stories.

If Trump can detain citizens—including combat Veterans—for days without cause, no one is safe from his whims.
Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.
