I think one of the hardest things about being a career writer in traditional publishing is that writing attracts the neurodivergent brain while the variable reinforcement schedule punishes it. Switched from drafting one project to editing another, mostly because last night I decided to make a cover for that one. Enjoyed the illustration part, not the graphic designy part. But since I'm planning to self-pub this, and possibly more projects, I might as well start learning now

Ich weiß nicht, warum ich mir 3 POVs angetan habe, aber ich habe es getan und ohne die funktioniert es jetzt nicht mehr. Wird also eine spaßige Rohfassung und sehr viel mehr Spaß beim Überarbeiten. 🎉.... baby steps. Kapitel für Kapitel, Wort für Wort

losing the battle against shiny new idea syndrome is a good indicator of how much i've recovered from the cfs crash, but it also means i now am ignoring the other two projects i was sure i'd be working on this summer
