So my apartment just sent out an email that we’re not allowed to feed the squirrels.

Do you think they’ll accept that we’re feeding the birds but the squirrels come anyway?

Meanwhile, the two baby squirrels are bulking up for winter and even cuter.
One of our porch squirrels (one of the babies, although you can’t tell it’s a baby unless it’s next to one of the adult squirrels) sitting on a moving blanket that has little chunks ripped out of it from the time one of the baby squirrels tried to bury an acorn in the blanket.

This is our senior tortoiseshell kitty Freya being adorable, as usual. She’s on a grey couch, with her front paws curled up on her chest and her back legs sticking out at a 90-degree angle from the rest of her body. This is our tuxedo kitty Luna. She’s is curled up on her side, but with every leg splaying in a different direction. She’s laying on top of the bed, which is covered by a white blanket (well, it used to be white before she covered it with her hair) and a blue, yellow, and white quilt. Her toy banana, which she’s never far from, is behind her back.

Yesterday we made roast chicken with tarragon and a shallot tarragon pan sauce, served with smashed potatoes topped with manchego and Irish cheddar.

Finally, please somebody impeach this mad king!!! How many illegal and unethical things does he have to do before he gets impeached? Anyone else would have been removed by now.

I don’t have anything clever to add, they’re just freaking adorable.
Our tuxedo kitty Luna is laying on an off-white blanket (made even more off-white by the copious amounts of her hair embedded in it). She is twisted so that her back legs are spread out on the blanket but her front paws are curled up to her chest, which is facing up. Her head is partially looking up also and she is curled around her banana catnip toy. I have no idea how she manages these positions. Our tortoiseshell kitty Freya is curled up on our grey couch, with her back against the armrest and facing me. She has one eye open to make sure I’m aware of how ridiculously cute she’s being. Her back legs are straight out and her front paws are laying on her knees.

Just an example of how male-centric medicine is. Here are the instructions for applying my Butrans patch.

Note the image is of a male chest. Not sure how breasts factor into placing the patch there, but no worries! I doubt they bothered to see if having breasts impacts how the medication works. 🤬
This is part of the instructions for applying a Butrans patch. There are two images of a male chest showing where to apply the patch (on the pectoral muscle). Applying a patch 1. While continuing to use the smaller portion of the protective liner as a handle, place the sticky side of the patch on the site you prepared for application 2. While still holding the sticky side down, gently fold back the smaller portion of the patch. Grasp an edge of the remaining protective liner and slowly peel it off 3. If you are using two patches, remember to apply them at the same site right next to each other. Always apply and remove the two patches together at the same time
