People will laugh at this, but be prepared to get egg on your face, if you fail to take Scotland seriously going into 2026.

See, this is why I occasionally relapse and need to sneak off to have illicit Twitter sex with the Saffas.

At least they respect me for what I am : a professional rugby pundit.

UNLIKE YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARDS.😤

Wow - the RDS naming rights fiasco rumbles on!

I have spoken to my Dublin friends and they have told me that the 2,900-strong Royal Dublin Sportsground society, of which they are all well-heeled members, has taken this email very, very badly.

Expect this to be long and drawn out!

In the event of me being the President of a newly minted Welsh Republic, my first action, on day 1, would be to start a nuclear enrichment programme.
said it before but Ireland should buy exactly 1 (one) nuclear missile. parade it up and down o'connell street on easter sunday. and keep it pointed at london.

The same goes for the ageing Ireland team, to be honest. How do they go about replacing generational talents such as Lowe, Gibson-Park & Aki?
Scottish rugby fans beating up on Townsend is spectacularly misguided - not to mention ungrateful.

The bottom line is this : unless the SRU can bring through another generation with the quality of WP Nel, Schoeman, Duhan VDM, Steyn et al, the results will drop off, either way - Toonie or no Toonie.
Yeah, thats kiiiiinda the problem.

Unfortunately, a part of a stadium's soul is lost when it undergoes a corporate rebrand & I know that my Leinster-supporting pals hold great affection & pride for the Royal Dublin Sportsground name, reflecting, as it does, the proud Western British identity that defines those S. Dublin communities.😢

The reality is that nobody who is going to vote for Farage cares that he is an entitled, racist scumbag.
“I would never ever do it in a hurtful or insulting way”

Nigel Farage responds to allegations of racist behaviour from when he was a teenager at school

I agree. Lock 'em up and throw away the key!
People who criticise other teams when their own team is shit should be put in prison

I had to brutally own some lippy IRT type on WhatsApp today, with the attached historical evidence.

It did get me thinking though : Welsh rugby has a decade to sort itself out, because I would rather it discontinue, than live in a world where 🇨🇮 is ahead of us in historical head-to-head.

Over the AI series, the aggregate score is

Scotland 179-58 All comers

The only word for it is 'AWESOME' - and yet some are calling for Townsend's head!

This really is a huge statement win by Scotland. If they turn it on like yhis in the 6N, you would have to be very brave to bet against them.
November 23, 2025 at 3:32 PM
Wow, ruthless Scotland really laying down a marker here!

IMO, of the current Welsh side, only the following are either current top international class, or have a high enough ceiling to become that:

Lake, Morgan, T Williams, Edwards, LRZ

... Wainwright, Beard and Adams were in that bracket, but seem to have undergone talentectomies.

It isn't enough.
Another depressing Welsh performance today.

A few positives, in that our wingers were lethal and Dan Edwards seems to be maturing into a top test foy half, but what use is that, when your pack is so effortlessly outmuscled by a very ordinary 🇳🇿 outfit?

Tandy has his work cut out.

Dan Edwards is far better than either Prendergast or Crowley.

The kid seems to have it all and has been excellent in an utterly beaten Welsh side.

He would be imperious behind a strong pack.
The worst i’ve seen an Irish rugby team play. No discipline and the Sam P show should be over now. Fine for club, not an international.

C'mon the Springboks.

You have a moral duty to all of us to make this as biblical as possible.

Carley just bottled a 4th yellow for that penalty try.

Ireland are a better team without either one of their two comically overrated 'out' halves.

This is peak rugby.

World Rugby have created a contract that blocks themselves from sharing footage from their own games.

Gold.
November 20, 2025 at 8:38 PM
Fuck off, you can't do that.

The chat around Pendergast's defence is, quite frankly, absurd.

Since SP entered professional rugby, his defensive game has been, at its flailingly worst, five times stronger than Ronan O'Gara's defensive game ever was.

Whrn will Irish rugby fans stop missing the woods for the trees?
Rassie Erasmus in good form today.

Full of praise for Sam Prendergast.

"He's got guts. People are talking about his tackling, that there's maybe a weakness there, but I've seen him go really hard and he's a big boy, and he looks pretty fit."
